Lycoming O-320-E2D Complete Engine Cessna 172

** Warning**  Scammers have been copying my ad and pictures here.  If you see another similar listing, it is not mine, nor is it legitimate.  I have brought this to ebay's attention and no one cared.  Please, buyer beware and be careful of scams!!
This is a certified O-320-E2D freshly overhauled according to SB240W, above and beyond the required parts were the oil pressure regulator is new & adjustable, and cylinders are brand new Superior.  This is a "certified" build, and will include logs, AD report, and all the yellow tags.  Pictures are file photos.
Engine is sold as pictured in what I would consider "long block".  No carb, mags, or accessories.  I do have those things available if needed.  Yes, I can build 160hp versions, but do so upon request.
I would sell outright for 40k.

(meaning crank, cases, cam and rods must pass inspection or you will be liable for charges on those parts).  Contact for more details.  These cores have became incredibly hard to find, the last several overhauls have sold before I'd even listed.  Parts availability is very difficult right now too, especially new cylinders.
Note: (07/29/2024) Current build has sold.  My next build will be a little different, I had an engine come in with 1500hrs SMOH that the mechanic tore down due to a stuck piston pin and chaffing button.  No idea why he split it because the parts are very nice.  I am going to IRAN the bottom end with new bearings, and thinking I will do a light top overhaul, not sure yet.  Likely will sell this one for 25k outright or 15k with exchange.
